Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer application, types of varieties,
and their interactions on the yield of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.). This research was carried
out from 18 August to 28 November 2021 in Balekerto Village, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang
Regency. The height of the research site is 700 m above sea level, the type of soil is latosol.
The research method used a non-factorial experiment (3x3) arranged in a completely
randomized block design (CRBD) with three blocks. The first factor in giving NPK fertilizer
is phonska fertilizer, pearl fertilizer, and mixed fertilizer. The second factor of peanut varieties,
namely talam 1, elephant, and hypoma 1. The results showed that the treatment had no
noticeable effect on the weight of fresh stuffed pods per plant (g), the weight of dry contented
pods per plant (g), protein content (%), oil content (%) and starch content (%). The interaction
of the application of various fertilizers and various varieties has a marked effect on the
observation parameter of the number of fresh stuffed pods per plant (fruit).
