Abstract

The era of Artificial Intelligence has brought significant changes to the world of higher education,
including in the way students obtain, process, and present information. This technological
development presents both opportunities and challenges, particularly related to students' academic
responsibility, which is vulnerable to plagiarism, excessive reliance on automated systems, and a
decline in critical thinking and creativity. This literature review article aims to analyze the concept of
strengthening students' academic responsibility through a literature review, with a focus on the role of
Pancasila Education as a character-building instrument. Pancasila Education has strategic relevance
in instilling the values of integrity, honesty, responsibility, and critical thinking necessary to face the
development of Artificial Intelligence. The literature review shows that the integration of Pancasila
values in the learning process can form the basis of academic ethics, strengthen moral awareness,
and build students' reflective attitudes towards the use of technology. Thus, strengthening academic
responsibility through Pancasila Education not only equips students with national insight but also
prepares them to become an adaptive generation with character and able to utilize Artificial
Intelligence is the responsibly.
