Author Guidelines

Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts according to the guidelines outlined below, based on the ICCULL Proceedings Template. Please ensure your submission complies with these rules to facilitate the review and publication process.

1. General Requirements

  • Language: Full papers must be written in English.
  • Paper Size: The document must be formatted for A4 paper size.
  • Length & Spacing: The manuscript length should be between 5-10 pages, typed in single space (1.0 spacing).
  • Page Numbers: Do not add page numbers, headers, or footers to your paper.
  • Formatting: Do not alter margins, column widths, or line spacing provided in the template. Do not use hard tabs; limit the use of hard returns to one return at the end of a paragraph.

2. Title, Authors, and Abstract

  • Title: Use the "Paper Title" style. Sub-titles should not be used. Avoid symbols, special characters, or math in the title. Capitalize the first letter of words (except for articles, prepositions, and conjunctions).
  • Author Affiliations: Include department name, organization name, city, country, and email address (or ORCID). Do not repeat affiliations for multiple authors from the same institution; group them accordingly.
  • Abstract: Do not use symbols, special characters, or math in the abstract.
  • Keywords: Provide keywords immediately after the abstract.

3. Manuscript Structure

The paper should follow this structural order:

  • Introduction
  • Literature Review
  • Method
  • Result and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgment (optional)
  • References

Note: Do not number the text headings manually; the template will handle the numbering automatically.

4. Figures, Tables, and Equations

  • Placement: Place figures and tables at the top or bottom of columns. Avoid placing them in the middle of columns. Large figures/tables may span across both columns.
  • Captions: Figure captions must be placed below the figures. Table heads must appear above the tables.
  • Image Quality: Graphics should ideally be 300 dpi resolution (TIFF or EPS files).
  • Equations: Use either the Times New Roman or Symbol font. Number equations consecutively in parentheses flush right, e.g., (1). Define symbols before or immediately following the equation.

5. References

  • Style: Follow the IEEE Reference Guide style.
  • Citations: Number citations consecutively within brackets, e.g., [1]. The sentence punctuation follows the bracket. Refer to the reference number simply as "in [3]" rather than "Ref. [3]" (except at the beginning of a sentence).
  • Author Names: List all author names unless there are six or more; in that case, use "et al.".
  • Unpublished Work: Papers that have not been published should be cited as "unpublished". Papers accepted but not yet published should be cited as "in press".
