THE ROLE OF PANCASILA EDUCATIONAL SUBJECTS AND CITIZENSHIP IN THE CHARACTER FORMING OF STUDENTS IN ONLINE LEARNING PERIOD

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of Civics subjects as a means of forming student character in the
online learning period. The data collection method used is a study of literature such as journals, books related to
the role of Civics subjects as a means of forming student character in the online learning period. The results of
the study show that Pancasila and Citizenship Education have an important role in the learning process, in which
PPKn contains material related to character education. In the formation of character can not be separated from
the values contained in Pancasila. In the implementation of online learning there needs to be cooperation between
teachers and parents. Therefore, in the learning process, one of the means for the formation of the character of
students is the subject of Pancasila and Citizenship Education.
